Camel Ride

Riding a camel is an altogether different and enjoyable experience. And what better way than doing this in their own backyard – a desert. Ride atop a domesticated and instruction-following camel and go through your sightseeing adventure in a royal way. The camel ride is escorted and conducted by a professional.

Buy the entrance tickets from Visitor Center and head to the Wadi Rum Resthouse that is the point of start of your camel ride tour, situated 7km straight from the Center. The entry is free for Jordan Pass holders. You also get parking facility at the Resthouse if you are coming from your own car.

Duration:

  • From 9.30am to 6pm (summer time)
  • From 9.30 to 5pm (winter time)

  • Red Sand Dune
  • Infashieh Inscriptions
  • Lawrence’s House

If you find that the full day camel ride is too long or uncomfortable, you can also walk with the camels for the distance and duration that pleases you.

Price per person:

  • 1 person: 90JD
  • 2 persons: 45JD
  • 3 persons: 40JD
  • 4 persons: 35JD
  • 5 – 6 persons: 30JD

If visitors arrive at the same time, tour will be shared in order to reduce costs. Private tours upon request.
